(Version 2026.01.21)\nRating: 7 1/2\nThere Are No Orcs: is a “tug of war”, auto battler, city builder, tower defense, with some RTS and roguelite (rng) elements. You have the species to select from “Human”, Demon, and Dwarf, and in for each species you have 10 different commanders. These commanders will bring different passive traits, different skills, and unique buildings. And to be expected not everything is perfectly balance, and that's just fine. This game was super pleasantly surprising, as in I enjoyed my experience more than I thought I would. It scratches that itch if you like replaying things over again, to achieve your own goals or to try something slightly different. There isn't a large variety of maps you'll battle on, I think maybe 4 I could be wrong but it's very low. I should mention that you'll have equipment that you can gear your commander with. This equipment can make a huge difference, and while this game doesn't have end game “meta” progression it does 100% require you to get some good gear to progress in the later difficulties. You'll have a currency for your commander, this currency you will utilize to build up your space, and you'll have a shop that you can refresh what “buildings” you can purchase. What comes up is random, and when you upgrade your shop it does add additional shops so thus some additional RNG. But I never found the RNG to be a major issue, yes sometimes it's a pain but not game breaking pain. Some players requested for a Survival mode to see how they could “break” the game and it was added. And let's just say those builds are super broken. I should state something that some people may or may not enjoy, many of the commanders require similar starting builds, and yes in the end you may have to build the same build as you did with another commander. This is a MUST GET for any one who enjoys that tower defense, tug of war, auto battler games.\np.s\nYou'll see a nice chunk of reviews, and game play footage prior to a nerf to a ”powerful” unit.\nCharacters you can play:\n3 Species: “Human”, Demon, Dwarf.\n10 unique commanders for each species. (EACH WITH THEIR OWN UNLOCK REQUIREMENTS)\nSome people may hate this aspect and in fact yes it does suck when you can't unlock a commander you want to play with until after Chaos +50 (I think it was).\nSome unique skills for example:\nAlistair has an active skill to mutate their Dinosaurs genes to make them stronger.\nVraal-M'neq has multiple actives that will add a team wide passive but at a cost of information.\nBlathnaid will consume all empty tiles and summon an equal number of treants.\nUnits that can be on your team:\nI think there are 60+ that you can have on your team.\nRelics:\n44 in total, these will add benefits and sometimes with some penalties to your team. You obtain relics while in a battle after upgrading a shop, as a passive skill for some commanders, and beating enemy towers.\nEnemies:\nLots of them, I think a similar variety as to you, but maybe have the number.\nDifficulties:\nNormal with 4 maps, Hard with 4 maps, Brutal with 4 maps, Chaos incrementally increase difficulty all the while changing the maps rule, Survival aka (endless).\nThis is where the game shines, and yes this is where you notice there isn't a perfect balance to everything. Honestly this fine by me but I can see how others may get upset with this. , You will have to change up your build, and yes sometimes you can cheese the game. And yes sadly to you to puzzle out some wins. If you are not achievement hunting or want to play the game for fun, find the difficulties you like and just play. See what fun wacky combinations you can come up with using relics, units, and commanders.\nFinal thoughts:\nI enjoyed this game a great deal, I'm not sure if it'll get any more updates honestly but it was fun. I really enjoyed playing it and enjoy what it is. GET IT BUY IT, A MUST GET, it's fun, it's repetitive, but that's what I enjoy.\n(side tangent) At the moment I'm glad there isn't a PVP section of the game because that's be honest. There Are No Orcs: is a “tug of war”, auto battler, city builder, tower defense, with some RTS and roguelite (rng) elements. This is a MUST GET for any one who enjoys that tower defense, tug of war, auto battler games.

\nYou'll see a nice chunk of reviews, and game play footage prior to a nerf to a ”powerful” unit.

Characters you can play:
\n3 Species: “Human”, Demon, Dwarf.
\n10 unique commanders for each species. (EACH WITH THEIR OWN UNLOCK REQUIREMENTS)
\nSome people may hate this aspect and in fact yes it does suck when you can't unlock a commander you want to play with until after Chaos +50 (I think it was).
\nSome unique skills for example:
\nAlistair has an active skill to mutate their Dinosaurs genes to make them stronger.
\nVraal-M'neq has multiple actives that will add a team wide passive but at a cost of information.
\nBlathnaid will consume all empty tiles and summon an equal number of treants.

Units that can be on your team:
\nI think there are 60+ that you can have on your team.

Relics:
\n44 in total, these will add benefits and sometimes with some penalties to your team. You obtain relics while in a battle after upgrading a shop, as a passive skill for some commanders, and beating enemy towers.

Enemies:
\nLots of them, I think a similar variety as to you, but maybe have the number.

Difficulties:
\nNormal with 4 maps, Hard with 4 maps, Brutal with 4 maps, Chaos incrementally increase difficulty all the while changing the maps rule, Survival aka (endless).
\nThis is where the game shines, and yes this is where you notice there isn't a perfect balance to everything. Honestly this fine by me but I can see how others may get upset with this. , You will have to change up your build, and yes sometimes you can cheese the game. And yes sadly to you to puzzle out some wins. If you are not achievement hunting or want to play the game for fun, find the difficulties you like and just play. See what fun wacky combinations you can come up with using relics, units, and commanders.

Final thoughts:
\nI enjoyed this game a great deal, I'm not sure if it'll get any more updates honestly but it was fun. I really enjoyed playing it and enjoy what it is. GET IT BUY IT, A MUST GET, it's fun, it's repetitive, but that's what I enjoy.
