If you play this with a keyboard, it's incredibly frustrating, in a bad way (this is from someone who loved QWOP and Octodad).

With a controller it immediately becomes possible, and I imagine those complaining about the game have only used a keyboard.

I'm either feeling intentional input lag or it's just a cranky old Unity version running NWMP, as getting beyond level one cannot be done. You have at best one second to correct errant movement by the beetle or you've failed your run, and sometimes even then you'll mess up. Some reviews claim this is Dark Souls hard, I'd wager DS is at least fun as with it you can improve. Not Without is not about skill, rather timing and a fair bit of luck in a game where repeated attempts just become boring real quick.\nNote if you have a controller and are still interested, Youtube gameplay clips make it appear as though NWMP is fairly easy with one so it might be worth your time in this case.","html":"
