I got it because I thought it would have similar mechanics to Doodle Jump. I loved that game so i was excited to see something like it.\nWell, I was wrong.\n------------------------------------\nPositives:\n+Cute and pixel-like aesthetics\n+Simple game concept\n+Achievements\n---------------------------------\nNegatives:\n-Literally no music. (Yet sound effects? What?)\n-You cant move mid air. This is an extremely annoying thing when you slip off on moving platforms, have a life available so you bounce back up, and yet are unable to do anything about it because you cant move in the air to get on aformentioned moving platforms. This seems like a poor oversight.\n-When moving on platforms with WASD it is so sudden and sharp. There is no smooth sliding. The platforms are small too, so you either go all the way to the left or all the way to the right. This, obviously, makes centering difficult and progression difficult.\n-Mouse is just....the worst to use. Don't even bother. You have to click to jump, but *drag* to slide. See how there could be problems with that method compared to just fixing the position on the cursor at all points in time so the box simply slid wherever your cursor went? Right.\n-Pressing escape doesn't bring up exit menu, you must manually click it or toggle over to with with WASD. If you are in the middle of playing a game, you cannot pause or exit. You have to die and throw your progress out the window to actually stop the game. Another annoying oversight.\n-Poor descriptions. The achievements say \"unblock level 2/3/4/5\" but there is no indication of progress towards levels. I am \"Rank 2\" but that apparently has nothing to do with levels. Do we need to reach a certain score? Do we need to collect a certain amount of points? I shouldn't have to try and figure out these basic things.\n------------------------------------\nWould I recommend this?\nNo.\nI'm just here for the achievements, and even then I regret installing cause this is gonna be a pain in the ass to 100%.","html":"

This is just...frustrating. I got it because I thought it would have similar mechanics to Doodle Jump. I loved that game so i was excited to see something like it.

Well, I was wrong.
\n------------------------------------

Positives:

+Cute and pixel-like aesthetics

+Simple game concept

+Achievements

---------------------------------
\nNegatives:

-Literally no music. (Yet sound effects? What?)

-You cant move mid air. This is an extremely annoying thing when you slip off on moving platforms, have a life available so you bounce back up, and yet are unable to do anything about it because you cant move in the air to get on aformentioned moving platforms. This seems like a poor oversight.

-When moving on platforms with WASD it is so sudden and sharp. There is no smooth sliding. The platforms are small too, so you either go all the way to the left or all the way to the right. This, obviously, makes centering difficult and progression difficult.

-Mouse is just....the worst to use. Don't even bother. You have to click to jump, but *drag* to slide. See how there could be problems with that method compared to just fixing the position on the cursor at all points in time so the box simply slid wherever your cursor went? Right.

-Pressing escape doesn't bring up exit menu, you must manually click it or toggle over to with with WASD. If you are in the middle of playing a game, you cannot pause or exit. You have to die and throw your progress out the window to actually stop the game. Another annoying oversight.

-Poor descriptions. The achievements say "unblock level 2/3/4/5" but there is no indication of progress towards levels. I am "Rank 2" but that apparently has nothing to do with levels. Do we need to reach a certain score? Do we need to collect a certain amount of points? I shouldn't have to try and figure out these basic things.

\nNo.
