with this game. First of all, this is clearly the developer testing out a prototype for a Metroidvania, and the scope of the project is extremely small. With that said, let's look at the positives.\nFirst off, the atmosphere of the game is incredible, and you truly feel like you are exploring an infected moon filled with monsters. The music is also very good, helping to create a spooky atmosphere. On top of that, the visuals are well done and fit the setting perfectly. While they aren't anything extraordinary, they are still very good. Sadly, that is all I can really say about the positives.\nFor the negatives, my biggest issue was the horrible movement and janky combat. There is a frustrating bug that causes your character to attack downward instead of in the direction you intended. This can be incredibly annoying and often leads to death through stun-locks. A lot of the time, when you take damage, you can't move and end up stuck in a cycle of being hit until you die.\nFor some reason, the game also suffers from massive FPS drops on the Steam Deck whenever you attack, constantly slowing down to around 30 FPS. A game like this really shouldn't have performance issues like that. I also encountered a glitch in the first checkpoint area where the game dropped to 1 FPS. This forced me to restart the game, as it effectively caused a soft lock.\nThe bosses are also very strange. The first boss is extremely difficult, and the game doesn't clearly indicate whether you're actually dealing damage, making it feel almost unkillable. Thankfully, this is only an issue with the first boss, as every other boss is very easy except for the final one. There is a lot to talk about with this game. First of all, this is clearly the developer testing out a prototype for a Metroidvania, and the scope of the project is extremely small. With that said, let's look at the positives.

First off, the atmosphere of the game is incredible, and you truly feel like you are exploring an infected moon filled with monsters. The music is also very good, helping to create a spooky atmosphere. On top of that, the visuals are well done and fit the setting perfectly. While they aren't anything extraordinary, they are still very good. Sadly, that is all I can really say about the positives.

For the negatives, my biggest issue was the horrible movement and janky combat. There is a frustrating bug that causes your character to attack downward instead of in the direction you intended. This can be incredibly annoying and often leads to death through stun-locks. A lot of the time, when you take damage, you can't move and end up stuck in a cycle of being hit until you die.

For some reason, the game also suffers from massive FPS drops on the Steam Deck whenever you attack, constantly slowing down to around 30 FPS. A game like this really shouldn't have performance issues like that. I also encountered a glitch in the first checkpoint area where the game dropped to 1 FPS. This forced me to restart the game, as it effectively caused a soft lock.

The bosses are also very strange. The first boss is extremely difficult, and the game doesn't clearly indicate whether you're actually dealing damage, making it feel almost unkillable. Thankfully, this is only an issue with the first boss, as every other boss is very easy except for the final one. Unfortunately, the final boss is simply tedious, taking far too long and forcing you to repeat the same actions for around eight minutes straight.

The game is also very short and doesn't offer much content.

Overall, this game has some potential and could be fun if it were more refined. However, I wouldn't recommend it because of the numerous bugs and performance issues, even though it is free.
