Kind of weird mix of management/tycoon game and puzzle game. If it focused in either area it could be great for that particular genre but the mix of the two feels off.

There are a lot of core issues with this game too. For example you're supposed to divide your casino into sections where each different type of guest has specific needs and enjoys certain things.

This sounds nice until you run into the problem that all the guests wander everywhere in the casino, they don't seem to know to congregate to the areas designed for them.

Also it just feels weird designing a casino with sections for each personality type. Like "oh, here's the hipster corner of my casino". "This is where I put the entitled influencers" etc.

If this had simply been an economy focused casino manager game it could've been great. Instead for some odd reason they went "you know, Tycoon isn't enough. Let's make this a puzzle game!!"

The reason most people like manager games is because they're *not* puzzle games. You're running a business, not trying to fit 4 squares into 2 round holes. They're different playstyles and I suspect you're going to be hard pressed to find an audience that enjoys both puzzle and management in the same game.

Especially considering the puzzles themselves are fairly rudimentary, when they even function correctly. You're basically crossing off checkmarks in needs columns until you've finished them all and made a given segment of the casino happy. Rinse repeat.

It's really a shame if this game had just shifted and focused on being a true manager it could've been great.

Ah well.

TLDR: Weird mix of puzzle and management that doesn't pull off either successfully. Not recommended.

OVERPRICED!
\nWhy?
\nLack of content, freedom, and ANY tycoon attribute by a tycoon standard.

A tycoon game has the freedom to build, manage, design, and make your casino great.
\nNot here... template type... direction and VERY repetitive.
\nGST is a puzzle placement simulator and not a true Casino Tycoon game with any freedom.

Also, the game starts with someone's saved file in slot 1, so attention to detail, not a strong signal in testing. The developer asked for clarification, we provided it.

$9.99 game at best. Not much replayability, as it is, the feeling of we did it, move on.
\nGood luck to these guys, but not a true Casino Tycoon.
\nAlso, how about some real casino sounds, what you have takes away from the immersive element completely.

Response to Developer request;
\nWhen I installed CT and began the game, it had a saved file already in slot save 1.
\nThe production team deleted it before we began doing our first play thru.
\nUninstalled it, reinstalled it, and was reproduced.
\nWe had it for our video feed but the game is not what the title implies as it has some management of Tycoon elements, but VERY guided and repetitive, so we did not publish it. Glad to help. Good luck. Also, your game could use some real casino sounds to make it immersive, not what you have currently.

Grand Casino Tycoon is a cinical reminder on why the house always wins. It's not a free-building tycoon where you can place objects as you wish expecting that "it'll work out" - as in the real casino there is an intention behind each zone and object.

After finishing a few levels I've got a strong Theme Hospital + Evil Genius vibe with a strong emphasis on proper placement of objects and an additional layer of management to ensure the satisfaction of all customers.

Luckily you're not managing separate employees and adverts as your only concern here is to figure out the most efficient layout of the casino itself. I've especially enjoyed A/B testing feature and how you can see ROI of each object.

I've barely got out of my own casino - it's as addictive as it should be. Some minor bugs could be encountered, but you can report everything to devs on Discord and we should see it fixed soon after the release.
